Peanut Butter & Banana Dog Treats

Prep Time 15 minutes
Cook Time 15 minutes
Servings 20 treats

Ingredients

  • 1 1/3 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1 small banana
  • 1/4 cup natural peanut butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon

Instructions

  • Combine all ingredients together in bowl or a stand mixer.
  • For cutout shapes: Knead dough mixture and work it out with a rolling pin until you get it nice and flat enough (about a thickness of 1/2 inch) to cookie cut or use fun cookie stamps too!
  • For molds: Knead dough mixture only for about one minute and place dough into molds. I actually prefer molds, they are so easy to work with faster in my opinion. I have these I purchased off Amazon and they work like a charm!
  • Bake for 15 minutes at 350° degrees. They should be light, golden and crunchy. Make sure to wait until they are completely cooled before giving them as a treat to your dog.

This is a great natural peanut butter we like to use; has no bad things just good ole peanuts.

Another flavor option would be to use natural canned pumpkin which the pups love too!

This is also a perfect activity to do with a little one who loves to be in the kitchen like mine does. He loves to be the biggest helper!

I hope your family enjoys making these yummy treats for your own fur babies! 🐾
